You can buy this "fence" at Lowes or Home Depot. The roll I bought was called "Kwikmesh Utility Screen roll".  It is marked as 1/8 Galvanized Expanded Metal roll.  I bought the 4" by 25' foot roll for about $4.00. It is made by Construction Metals Inc. You may want to pick up some small, tubular metal at you local hardware store for the "fence pole" supports.

The mesh screen is stiff enough to stand upright well enough but you will want pole supports for you fence.  You could use, small single stranded wire to attach the fence to the poles. Copper wire will discolor outside so it should work fine.

A photo of the Chain link fence material with a car and figure for scale comparison.  The mesh will be good for most large scales.
